If you are looking for a Chevrolet truck that has not only great towing capacity, but great power as well, look no further than the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The 2500 has been a staple in the pickup truck lineup and has led the industry in safety and performance. With the new 2019 model coming in 4 unique trim levels, it’s easy to find a model just for you. Let’s take a look at each trim level and what they have to offer.
WT
To start things off, the 2500 is going to come in a WT trim level, which is the base model, all standard features truck. This is going to be the level that each trim above it will be based on and they will feature these same amenities plus a few upgrades. Just because it is a base model, does not mean it doesnt come with some great features. The WT trim level starts off with a powerful Vortec 6.0 V8 engine capable of 360 horsepower and 380 ft/lbs of torque. Wanting to go diesel? You have the option of choosing a Duramax 6.6 engine too. The features that are standard on the WT trim level are cloth and vinyl seating, Chevrolet’s infotainment system, a handling or trailering system, Duralife brake rotors, back up camera, and a steel boxed frame. You will also get the choice of 2 wheel or 4 wheel drive.
LT
If you are wanting to get a little more bang for your buck than the WT, you can opt for the LT model on the 2019 Silverado 2500. This trim level will many of the same great options found on the WT, but you get a few upgrades as well. These new features will include body color matched moldings/mirror caps/door handles, 4.2” information center, Chevrolet’s Connected Services Trail, On Star built in, and the choice of built in WiFi.
LTZ
If you are the type that likes more luxury in your truck, then you are going to love the 2500 LTZ model. You are going to get the same Vortec 6.0 engine, but to help with towing or hauling, the rear gears have been upgraded to a set of 4.10 gears. Featuring the same upgrades you saw in the LT, the LTZ boasts it’s own set of new features as well. Enjoy new features such as remote start, heated front leather seats, integrated trailer brake controller, dual zone automatic climate control, a 110-volt power outlet, and chrome door handles/body side moldings/mirror caps.
High Country
For those looking for the most fully loaded 2019 Silverado 2500, you are going to want to go with the High Country trim. The High Country Silverado not only gives you a powerful platform to haul just about anything in it’s realm, but it also gives you the same features found on many luxury cars. While you still get the LTZ standard options, you also get a long list of upgraded features. These include a Bose premium audio system, unique interior color in saddle or jet black, a spray in bedliner with a Chevy logo, unique badging, camper mirrors, 20” wheels, and much more!
