The Chevrolet Trax is one of Chevrolet’s newest compact SUVs, making its first debut in 2013. While it isn’t one of Chevy’s most popular models, it has started to make a name for itself with its newest technology and universal size that is perfect for anyone. The 2019 Chevrolet Trax is no different, offering 3 unique trim levels that are sure to suit every need that you have for an SUV. Let’s take a look at each trim level and see what features come on each level to determine which is the perfect fit for you.

LS

The 2019 Chevrolet Trax LS is going to be your base model Trax that has all of the standard features that more expensive trims are built off of. Although it is the base model, there are plenty of new features that are available on the LS that were not seen on previous year model Trax vehicles. The LS trim level will include a very fuel efficient 1.4L turbo Ecotec 4 cylinder engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The features include 10 airbags for excellent safety, a backup camera, electronic stability control, cloth interior, 4g LTE WiFi, steering wheel mounted audio controls, remote keyless entry, and 16″ steel wheels.

LT

Taking a step up from the LS model is the 2019 Chevrolet Trax LT. The LT model retains many of the standard features found on the LS, but has its own unique upgrades as well. It still has the same Ecotec engine and 6-speed transmission, but there are some exterior and interior differences worth noting. These features include 16″ wheels, LED running lights and tail lights, chrome beltline moldings, silver front and rear skid plate applique, roof rack side rails, body-color heated rear view mirrors, deep tinted rear windows, deluxe cloth seating, under-seat storage drawer, 110V AC outlet, and Sirius XM.

Premier

As with any vehicle, there is always a top of the line, fully loaded version. For the 2019 Chevrolet Trax, that is going to be the Premier trim level. This level is going to have all of the available options and be the best Trax that money can buy. Featuring the same motor, transmission, and options as previous models, the Premier gets its own unique upgrades as well. The Premier options include: Driver Confidence package, 18″ alloy wheels, fog lights, chrome exterior accents, front sill plate covers, leatherette seating, auto-dimming inside rearview mirror, a premium audio system by Bose, keyless entry, remote start, forward collision alert, lane departure warning, and a power sunroof.

Each of these trim levels will have the option of the Chevrolet Infotainment system which includes a 7” color touchscreen, Bluetooth streaming on compatible phones, voice command, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 6 speaker audio system, and USB ports. You will also get a trial of Sirius XM satellite radio and your choice of 4G LTE WiFi hotspots as well.

So now that we have looked at each trim level on the 2019 Chevrolet Trax, you should be able to find the perfect fit for your lifestyle.
