The Chevy Cruze is one of Chevrolet’s newest best selling compact sedans and has been since its debut in 2008. It’s sleek design and spacious interior has made it a customer favorite year over year and the 2019 Chevrolet Cruze is no different. Loaded up with many industry leading features across 5 different trim levels, the 2019 Cruze is shaping up to be another home run for General Motors.
L
Starting with the base model 2019 Chevy Cruze is the L trim model. This is going to be the most affordable Cruz in the lineup but it has some great features that makes it a great bargain at the price. Engine wise, you are going to get the fuel efficient 1.4L turbo Ecotec 4 cylinder engine with a 6 speed automatic transmission equipped with automatic stop/start. The L features include 4 wheel anti-lock disc brakes, a 7″ touch screen display, 10 airbag system, rear view camera, and Chevrolet Connected access.
LS
Taking a step up from the L model is the LS trim level featuring the same powertrain and standard features, but with a few upgrades. While there aren’t just too many upgrades, you will benefit from carpeted front floor mats and a stop/start engine control system. The LS also has a few different exterior color options as well.
LT
For those wanting a little more creature comforts than the L and LS models, you can opt for the LT trim level package. At this level, you will still get the powertrain that comes standard in the Cruze and the same options as the LS model, but this is where we start to see some new technology put into place. On this level you will get a 6 speaker audio system, 60/40 split folding rear seats, compact spare tire, 16″ alloy wheels, cruise control, LED daytime running lights, a remote start system, and Sirius Satellite radio.
Premier
For those looking for the most luxurious 2019 Chevrolet Cruze available, the Premier package is going to be the model for you. Keeping the same engine and transmission as the other trim levels, and the remote start found in the LT model, you get some performance and aesthetic upgrades at this level. The Premier package includes an 8 way power adjustable driver seat, 17″ alloy wheels, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, a watts link suspension, and leatherette seating and IP appointments. If you want the best of the best, the Premier package has just what you need.
Diesel
An interesting trim level found on the 2019 Cheverolet Cruze is the Diesel option. This trim level replaces the 4 cylinder Ecotec gasoline engine with a 1.6L turbo diesel engine and a 9 speed automatic transmission. Besides the powertrain swap, you are looking at all of the same great features found on the Premier package including remote start, heated front seats, and 8 way power driver seat. Besides that, it is basically a Premier package car with a 1.6L turbo diesel motor.
