New 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in Roscommon MI

Silverado 1500 Performance

All truck-related tasks are not the same. So, the Chevy Silverado 1500 offers several engine options for Gladwin drivers to choose their ideal mix of power and efficiency. Whether hauling equipment around the job or enjoying a weekend of recreation, there's a Silverado powerplant that's perfect for your needs. Five engines are available:

• 4.3-liter V6: Standard on WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, the base engine produces 285 horsepower and 305 pound-feet of torque. Equipped with this engine, the Silverado 1500 can tow between 7,400 and 7,900 pounds, based on configuration.
• 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder: Standard on LT and RST, this engine produces 310 horsepower and 348 pound-feet of torque and can tow up to 9,600 pounds.
• 5.3-liter V8: Standard on LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country models, this burly V-8 produces 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. When properly equipped, a Silverado 1500 with this engine can tow up to 11,600 pounds.
• Duramax® 3.0-liter Turbo-Diesel six-cylinder: Available on LT, RST, LTZ, and High Country, the turbodiesel engine produces 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Quiet yet powerful, it delivers stout towing capacity and impressive fuel efficiency. The newest addition to the Silverado 1500 lineup, it has a maximum trailering weight of 9,500 pounds and achieves an EPA-estimated 33 mpg on the highway.
• 6.2-liter V8: When only maximum capability will suffice, the available 6.2-liter V-8 is sure to impress. Available on LTZ and High Country trims, this powerplant pairs with an advanced 10-speed automatic transmission to deliver class-leading ratings for both horsepower (420) and torque (460 pound-feet. All that power is put to good use, as a properly-equipped Silverado with this engine can tow a best-in-class 13,300 pounds.

The 2022 Silverado 1500 offers a max payload rating of 1,750 to 2,280 pounds, depending on configuration. Vehicle-specific towing and payload ratings are located inside the driver's door.

Z71 Off-Road

For the ultimate combination of work and play, the Chevy Silverado offers the Z71 Off-Road Package with everything you need for your adventures away from the asphalt. Package highlights include all-terrain tires, off-road suspension with Rancho® shocks, an automatic locking rear differential, an Autotrac® 2-speed transfer case, hill-descent control, high-capacity air filter, and a metal underbody shield.
